Providing a forum for debate
One of the most important roles for the Nano&me site is to provide a forum to debate some of the important issues which arise from the uses of nanotechnologies, particularly social and ethical issues.
If we get funding for a full site, we aim to use Nano&me to host a series of debates on specific issues - such as Nano and Food, Nano Labelling, or Human Enhancement - complemented by live events, media support and joint venture projects with government, businesses or scientists who want to work with us to involve the public and others in specific areas where nano touches our lives.
